Hangul – 한글 – Korean (There are other names, but I use this most often.)

Annyong haseyo? – 안녕하세요? – Hello?

Annyong hashimnikka? (F) - 안녕하십니까? (F) – Hello?

Chonun ______ imnida. (F) – 저는 ___ 입니다. – My name is _____.

Yeongeorul malsum halsu isseoyo? - 영어를 할수 있어요? – Do you speak English?

namjachingu – 남자친구 – boyfriend

yeojachingu – 여자친구 – girlfriend

mandu – 만두 – dumplings

 

Here are some phrases for when you go out to eat.

 

Please bring me some water. – 물 좀 주세요. – Mul chom chuseyo.

Please bring me the check. – 여기 계산서 좀 가져오세요. – Yogi kyesanso chom kacho-oseyo.

Please give me a receipt. – 영수증을 주세요. – Yeoungsujeungeul chusaeyo.

Please give me a menu. – 메뉴 좀 갖다주세요. – Maenu chom kattajuseyo.
